At 1312hrs today, C-26 responded mutual aid to 27 Lewiston Court in the Poquonnock Bridge Fire District for a 100lb propane cylinder at a residential home that was leaking.  Poquonnock Bridge FD, Groton City FD, Groton Ambulance and D.E.E.P. also responded. Picture provided by Cory Watford (Homebrewtvnews).

C-21 responded mutual aid to Gales Ferry on 01/18 for a motor vehicle accident with fire and then again the next day for a motor vehicle rollover.  Both incidents happened on Rte 12 IAO Long Cove Rd.  On 01/20, C-21 responded to the Best Western Hotel on Rte 12 as the 3rd due enginein the Poqounnock Bridge Fire District to a Box Plus assignment for a dryer fire.  C-21's can man extinguished the fire with a 2.5 gallon water extinguisher.  The fire was held to the dryer. Numerous photo's have been added to the photo galleries.

Its with deep regret that we advise you that United States Naval Support Activity (NSA) Naples (Italy) Firefighter Luigi Rullo, 42 years old died early Friday morning at Capodichino Station 1. After Firefighter Rullo had collapsed other on-duty US Naval F& ES personnel attempted to render care , unfortunately their efforts were not successful. No information yet as to the cause of the medical event. Our sincere condolences to all affected. RIP.
